Rachel’s hair day brings in money for wig cancer charity

INSPIRED after reading about another local youngster who had done the same, 10 year old Rachel Habgood, a pupil in Year 5 at Holland Junior School, Hurst Green, has had her hair cut and donated it to The Little Princess Trust which uses it to make wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer .

Local hairdresser Jeny Sharp did the cutting and Rachel was able to donate a length of 12/13 inches.
