COMEDIAN and writer Andy Parsons and singer Danyl Johnson who appeared on X Factor in 2009 and competed to represent the UK in the 2017 Eurovision were at Limpsfield Grange School in their capacity as ambassadors for the People’s Postcode Lottery to hand over the keys of a brand new minibus to the school’s headteacher Sarah Wild.
The vehicle was supplied by the Lord’s Taverners which provides a range of specially adapted minibuses for SEN Schools catering for young people with learning and physical disabilities and is the 1,200th bus handed over by the Lord’s and Lady Taverners.
The Lord’s Taverners is the official charity for recreational cricket and the UK’s leading youth cricket and disability sports charity. Its charitable objective is to ‘give young people a sporting chance’and it is supported by the People’s Postcode Lottery.
