IF you’ve been a patient or visitor at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead in the last year and received treatment or support from an outstanding member of staff the hospital wants to hear from you.
It’s on the hunt for a worthy winner (or winners) of its outstanding patient experience award and needs the public to get involved. The hospital wants to hear about staff who have shown exceptional care and compassion – whether it’s the person who helped book your appointment, or served you a cuppa in the canteen, through to the nurse, therapist or doctor who cared for you.
As a specialist centre, Queen Victoria Hospital sees thousands of patients from across Surrey every year and would encourage anyone who’s had a positive experience thanks to its staff, to get in touch.
It only takes a minute to nominate a member of staff via a quick online form – if you can’t remember the full name of the person you want to choose please give as much detail as you can – what they looked like, their job etc. Nominations can be made online at www.qvh.nhs.uk or by calling the corporate affairs team on 01342 414508 for a form.
The deadline is midnight on Monday 20 August.
Last year the hospital had joint winners for its award – Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Tania Cubison, and Staff Nurse, Lorraine Loosley.
This year’s QVH Staff Awards are being kindly supported by the QVH Charity.
