Hever lake hosts children’s fishing festival

31919438_10156422045487560_3181422304965951488_o1Edenbridge Angling Society- established for over 60 years- is hosting a children’s fishing festival at Nursery Fields Lake, Hever, on August 23-25.

Tackle and bait will be provided and the event is ideal for novices and beginners.
The days run from 10am-4pm and entry is £5 per child, payable on the day. Adults free.

The EAS owns two still waters, two stretches of river and has access to eight other waters, including two reservoirs.
It is a small, friendly, club which caters for most types and styles of coarse fishing (pleasure and specimen). Its waters, which are in Kent, are easily accessible, and well-stocked with most species of coarse fish, including many of specimen size.
EAS offers excellent fishing in safe, secluded surroundings for carp, tench, bream, pike, perch, roach, crucian carp and barbel. The waters well-maintained, litter-free and very rarely crowded.

Guest permits are available for Chittenden Lake, Nursery Fields, Penshurst, East Haxted, Bodiam and Wittersham.
Fee £10 per permit. Members must accompany their guests at all times.
