Javajam Trio is an easy listening jazz band also performing pop classics, featuring Sarah-Jane Hassell and will be at the Hawth Theatre, Crawley, on Sunday, September 23.
Sarah-Jane has worked extensively in the West End including The Mistress in Evita, Cosette in Le Miserables and Ellen in Miss Saigon. A wealth of experience that she brings to her delightful singing in this musical journey from Gershwin to Porter and Bacharach to Norah Jones.
She formed Javajam in 2007, keen to explore her love of Jazz after a highly successful career in West End theatre.
The band includes herself (vocals), John Slade Willis (drums and vocals), Tim Robertson (double bass/electric bass), Roger Lewin (pianist) and Phil Brown (sax and flute).
