Top half term events at National Trust’s Surrey properties

Autumn is the perfect time to get outside and create unforgettable moments this October half-term. With all kinds of family-friendly and Halloween events on offer at National Trust properties in Surrey , the kids won’t get bored.

Here are the top half-term events to tick off this autumn across Surrey:

Polesden Lacey, near Dorking
20 – 28 October
Halloween Trail
This Halloween follow a spooky trail at Polesden Lacey, down Nun’s Walk, guided by the ghostly dogs who used to live here. Dare you go into the real life pet cemetery? Polesden’s Edwardian owner loved her dogs so much she had the cemetery created to honour them. There are 17 named headstones dedicated to her pet pals.
Normal admission plus £3 per trail.

Claremont Landscape Garden, near Esher
Half-term Hansel and Gretel trail
Sat 20 – Sun 28 Oct
Follow the story of Hansel and Gretel and help them escape the clutches of the wicked witch.
Normal admission plus £1 per trail

Experiment, discover and make a mess in these half term activities at Dapdune Wharf.
