Archers actors to give readings at Orpheus centre carol concert


Archers actors – and husband and wife – Charles Collingwood and Judy Bennett will be among the celebrity guests giving readings when the Orpheus Centre near Godstone holds a carol concert at St Johns Church, Redhill, on December 4 at 7.30pm.

The evening is a fundraiser for the Orpheus Centre which is for young disabled adults with a passion for the performing arts.

This special concert will feature bell ringing, carols by candlelight, performances by the inspirational Orpheus students, the beautiful voices of St John’s Church Choir and violinist Steve Bingham as well as seasonal readings by the celebrity guests.

After the concert, a traditional Christmas reception with mince pies and mulled wine will follow within the setting of St John’s new community centre, next door to the church.
