For four weeks these enterprising pupils of Lingfield Primary School started up their own ‘businesses’ with an investment go £10 and competed to make as much profit as possible.

The £10 Challenge involved the entrepreneurial youngsters selling ice lollies, home made key rings, cakes, manicures, strawberries and cream and many many other money spinning ideas.

And the students raised £500 which they handed over to the staff of Lingfield’s Orchard Court Home for spending on indoor games and activities for the residents.
