Care home reveals its poppy display for 100th anniversary

Julia Davies (front, centre) was only a few months old when the First World War was brought to a close in November 1918 and she was helping Caterham’s Cherry Lodge Care home to mark the 100th anniversary with this spectacular display of poppies- they are in place for Sunday’s Remembrance Day.

Fellow residents John Bleach and Jean Blundell joined Cherry Lodge owner Cherie Callender and activities co-ordinator Ann-Marie Scourfield in marking a very special occasion.
