The little church of St Lawrence’s, Caterham’s only Grade 1 listed building, will be crammed on December 1-2 with 35 plus floral exhibits from organisations all over the area-ranging from primary schools to the University of the Third Age.
Surrey Choices and a newly started flower arranging group, both based at the Douglas Brunton Day Centre in Caterham , are also doing arrangements. Exhibits not only reflect the season but also the activities in which the exhibitors are involved.
Sachiko Pearce and Maggie Gibson, two flower arranging experts who exhibit nationally, have kindly given their time to this winter festival by carrying out arrangements for some of the generous sponsors which give a seasonal feel to their activities. These will be on show in St Lawrence’s and will then be given to the sponsors for display at their places of business afterwards.
The event runs from 10am
