Probably never in their wildest dreams did the hardworking committee of the Edenbridge Community Christmas Association (ECCA) think they would have such a success with their first attempt at hosting a late night festive spectacular for the town.
And little did they realise how the community would respond in great numbers to the five hour event which had loads of stalls representing local businesses and charities in the town High Street and Doggetts Barn and Rickards Hall.
And the High Street and the main stage were given over to entertainment from Eden Songsters, Edenbridge Town Band, the Forge Singers, the Evolution Dance Academy, Acapella, the Edenbridge Players, Marlings Morris, Christmas carols and the Victorious River Band.
Santa was in his grotto to meet his young fans and the highlight of the night was when he joined members of the ECCA on stage to officially turn on Edenbridge’s yuletide lights.
