Christine and family would like to thank all who attended Kevin’s farewell service on Friday.

The incredible love and support we experienced from you all made the day truly special.

At the back of Edenbridge Parish Church we have left a book of condolence for those of you wishing to sign. It will be at the church for 2 weeks as of today, Monday 28 January.

Sad news about Kevin Black

Hi everyone. It is with a very sad heart to report that Kevin Black, editor of this online newspaper lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully on the morning of 31 December 2018 in hospital. He did not suffer and he was with his family until the end.

Rest in Peace our dear Kevin, we will miss you with all our hearts.

WE can’t seem to get through a week without hearing about some kind of data breach or security issue from one or more of the online data giants such as Google or Facebook.

Many of us are concerned about how and where we store our valuable data, such as photos and important documents. Generally your data is safe online with the likes of Google and Dropbox – but what if you have some really sensitive documents or data that you what to keep safe and secure offline? Sure you could buy a flash drive, these are affordable and the market is flooded with them. But what if you lost that flash drive or worse still it was stolen? Suddenly all that data is compromised.
