Expedition leader Jo is school’s Duke of Edinburgh awards speaker

Outdoor Instructor, expedition leader and motivational speaker Jo Bradshaw, who has led 30 expeditions on Mount Kilimanjaro along with numerous other expeditions on foot, two wheels and horseback, most at high altitude, all around the world with both charity and private clients, was Oxted School’s guest at the presentation of Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Fire services standard bearer helps remember former sub-officer Mike

TV expert Catherine to give free valuations

  • TV antiques expert Catherine Southon is hosting free valuations of antiques and jewellery in local venues in October.
  • On Monday October 15 (10am-1pm) the star of Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip will be at the Farleigh Court Golf Club on the outskirts of Warlingham.
  • And on October 22 (9.30am-noon) she will be at the Oxted Community Hall in the town’s Church Lane.
