First win for jockey Rhys is only a matter of time

The first win for local apprentice jockey Rhys Clutterbuck seems only a matter of time.

The 17 year old former Oxted School pupil who lives in Crockham Hill had his tenth race at Kempton Park and took second place aboard Ban Shoof after a photo finish .

A racing newspaper commented: ” Although he has only had a few rides, the improvement Rhys has made already is vast and when a winner does come it will be richly deserved.”

Rhys rides for Sussex trainer Gary Moore.
